The Kansas City Wizards will offer a 20 percent discount on season ticket packages and all season-game tickets for residents of Wyandotte County.

The offer is an exclusive local offer for just residents and employees of the county. Season-game tickets can be purchased by calling the team at (913) 387-3400 or by going to www.ticketmaster.com/wyandotte.

Season tickets can be purchased by calling the aforementioned number.

The catch – the offer stands until just March 25, two days before the team's season opener on March 27.

With the discount, season ticket packages can be purchased for $145.

•    K1-23  Scattered Sites: Housing units are located at; 2439 & 2441 N. 57th Street, 609-666 S. 73rd Street, 7301 & 7303 Osage, and 7309 & 7311 Kansas Ave, Kansas City, Kansas.

Sealed bids will be received until 1:00 p.m. CST, March 1, 2010 at the Housing Authority’s administration office, at 1124 North 9th Street in Kansas City, Kansas.  Bids received after this time will not be accepted.

The Housing Authority of Kansas City, Kansas invites bids for Parking Lot Improvements, Development K1-6, “Douglas Heights”, 1742 S. 40th Street, Kansas City, KS 66106, to be received in the Administration Building of the Housing Authority at 1124 North 9th Street, Kansas City, Kansas not later than 2:00 p.m., February 24th, 2010 at which time the bids submitted in accordance with the bid documents will be opened and read aloud.   Bids received after the specified time will be returned unopened to the sender.  Bids shall be in a sealed envelope, which shall be clearly labeled with the words:

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m., February 17th, 2010, at the project site in the Community Room, located at 1742 S. 40th Street, Kansas City, KS 66106.
 
Work includes paving repairs, curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement, parking lot sealer, markings, signage and other work indicated on the drawings. Various requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) including Instructions to Bidders and General Conditions for Public Housing Programs shall apply to this invitation. 

A bid bond in the amount of 5% is required.  100% Performance and labor and material payment guarantees will be required as outlined in the instructions to bidders.  A Copy of Contractor’s License from the Unified Government of Kansas City/Wyandotte County will be required, as well as an executed HUD Form 5369A (Representations, Certifications, and Other Statements of Bidders, Public and Indian Housing Programs).

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

CAPITAL FUNDS PROGRAM

 

Notice is hereby given that the Kansas City, Kansas Housing Authority will conduct a Public Hearing on the Capital Funds Program amending it’s 5 Year Plan at 5:00pm, on Thursday, January 7th , 2010 in the Community Center of Wyandotte Towers at 915 Washington Blvd, in Kansas City, Kansas.
