I hope whoever did this gets caught and made to pay restitution. Unlike what happened to us.We had a car get broken into and the kid was still in the car when the police approached the car with guns drawn. The kid was a juvenile and had to go through our gate and past 2 other cars parked in the driveway before he got to the one he wanted to break into. Brazen if you ask me. I watched him while talking to the dispatcher. You have no idea how hard it was for me to keep my husband from going out there with his gun. Once the police got him out of the car, I was right up in that boys face. What makes me mad is that he did over 1200.00 damage to my son's car and of course it didn't have full coverage on it. This was on the weekend and Monday I immediatly called the DA's office and the court house to find out when he was going to court so we could ask for restitution. They said it was too late. It happened on a Sunday night and Monday was too late? I think these people that get caught doing things like this, provided they get caught, need to work to repair the damages they cause. You can't keep them in jail, I am sick of them getting their hands slapped and sent home to mom and or dad. Whoever it was that did all this graffiti should be made to clean the car and repaint it. Take it to the police garage or wherever the body shop is for the police. Do something to punish these criminals and make some type of restitution to the people that have their propery damaged, stolen or whatever. Something has got to change.
