He earned his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in Kansas City, Missouri in 2009 and his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, in 2006 from Missouri State University of Springfield, Missouri.
• Elijah J. L. Haahr joins the firm’s workers’ compensation law and litigation practices in the Springfield, Missouri office. He earned his Juris Doctorate, Order of Barristers, from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri in 2008. Haahr received his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, and Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from Missouri Western State University, St. Joseph, Missouri in 2005. He also received his Associates of Arts, cum laude, from Ozark Technical Community College of Springfield, Missouri in 2002.

The Housing Authority of Kansas City, Kansas is seeking qualified companies to bid on providing replacement of fire alarm and emergency notification systems at high-rises indicated; as well as integrating existing fire alarm and emergency notification systems from multiple high-rise locations seamlessly back to one monitoring point.
• K1-4, Wyandotte Tower, 915 Washington Blvd., Kansas City, Kansas.
• K1-24 Plaza Tower, 1200 N. 75th Place, Kansas City Kansas.
Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. CST, December 1, 2009 at the Housing Authority’s administration office, at 1124 North 9th Street in Kansas City, Kansas. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.
Bid packages will be available from Davidson & Associates, Inc., 10955 Lowell Avenue, Suite 1025, Overland Park, KS, 66210-2389; starting November 16th, 2009. Email juliebiersmith@davidsonassociatesinc.com to reserve a set. A refundable deposit of $100.00 will be required per set. Check shall be made out to Housing Authority of Kansas City, Kansas.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. CST, November 18, 2009, in the Housing Authority’s main conference room.
This project is federally funded and subject to all applicable regulations. Prevailing wage must be paid as scheduled in the Project Manual. The Authority reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any and all bids or requests for additional information from any bidder.
