Winter will apparently make a triumphant return this weekend.
After a week filled with spring-like weather, Kansas City could receive up to five inches of snow tomorrow.
Rain and snow is possible tonight. A winter storm watch has been issue to counties just south of Wyandotte County.
Here is the four-day forecast
Today: A chance of rain after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 59. Light wind becoming north northwest between 10 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Tonight: Rain and snow, becoming all snow after 1am. Low around 30. Blustery, with a north wind between 18 and 23 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Today's high temperature is set to eclipse the 60-degree mark. Rain is likely – very likely, actually – with a 100 percent chance of rain.
However, the weather will turn again, as we could have a chance of snow Thursday night. Yes, that's right. Snow.

WEATHER: More like spring
We're not quite at spring yet, but there are some signs of it coming around the corner – both good and bad.
The good is warming temperatures, as the weather is going to stay in the 50s this week.
The bad – rain and more rain.
Thunderstorms, something we've not had in quite a while, are possible. A half inch of rain is possible tonight.

It appears Sunday will be the last time precipitation hits Wyandotte County for at least a few days, anyway.
No snow, ice, rain or any other form of precipitation is in the forecast for the next four days in the National Weather Service forecast.
However, temperatures in the morning could reach as low as 10 degrees this week. Wind chills could bring those temperatures lower.

Wyandotte County is under a winter storm warning.
Expect sleet and snow tonight and tomorrow. Forecasts show that Wyandotte County will receive some snow accumulation, although the total depends on temperature. If the temperature is higher, more sleet should be expected.
A low temperature could push snow totals even higher.

Prepare for another snow event of some kind.
The National Weather Service is predicting "moderate to heavy snowfall" at times this Sunday. An exact figure of accumulation has not been predicted yet, but it appears another significant storm is on the way as of Friday.
As for today, expect rain most of the day, with some sleet this morning. In the afternoon hours, all precipitation is expected to be rain.

After a chilly start to the week, things will improve temperature wise this week.
There is a chance for scattered snow flurries on Tuesday, mostly coming before noon. The high temperature will be 30 degrees today, with a low of 14.

WEATHER WATCH: Much colder January for KCK
The tougher winter isn't just imagination – it's in the statistics.
The average temperature in the Kansas City area for the month of January was 23.8 degrees, which is 3.1 degrees below normal. The average high temperature was 29.8 degrees, a full 6.2 degrees below normal.
Meanwhile, the average low temperature was 17.8 degrees, which is actually the normal low temperature for this time.
Kansas City also experienced a less wet January than normal.
The precipitation totals came in 0.72 inches below normal.
In regard's to today's weather, expect bitter cold wind chills throughout the day.

WEATHER WATCH: More snow on the doorstep
At least two inches of snow are expected in the latest round of winter weather hitting Kansas City.
The National Weather Service predicts between 2-5 inches of snow for Wyandotte County. After the snow tampers off, expect cold and windy weather for the next two days.
